To prepare for an underarm wax, follow these steps:

1. Make sure your hair is the right length: Your underarm hair should be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long for the wax to grip it properly.

2. Exfoliate the area: Before waxing, gently exfoliate your underarms to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs.

3. Clean the area: Take a shower before waxing to clean the underarm area thoroughly. This will help prevent infections.

4. Avoid using deodorant: Do not apply deodorant or antiperspirant before waxing as it can interfere with the waxing process.

5. Follow aftercare instructions: After waxing, avoid using harsh products on your underarms and wear loose clothing to prevent irritation.
