Continuing my rant from my previous video ๐Ÿ˜€

What many people donโ€™t realize is that removal often comes with:
โ€ข more time
โ€ข more emotional stress
โ€ข more financial investment
โ€”and itโ€™s rarely something clients picture themselves needing when they first say yes. In her case, her artist didnโ€™t have options to support her through that moment. #
So I walked her through the realities of her choices โ€” calmly, honestly, and without urgency โ€” because removal should never feel like the first solution. It should be a carefully considered last resort. Thankfully, after understanding what was happening and what her skin needed, she chose not to remove them right away.

But truthfullyโ€ฆ

No one should have to carry that kind of panic just days after a cosmetic tattoo. And many of these situations can be prevented when clients slow down long enough to find the artist that makes them feel the same certainty as saying yes to the dress.

That means:
Researching, scheduling a formal consultation, asking questions, looking at healed work โ€” not just fresh results.
Having a license or permit is important where state regulations require itโ€ฆ
โ€ฆbut it shouldnโ€™t be the finish line.

Your artist should be investing in their skill continuously.
Because this industry evolves. Pigments change. Technologies improve. Techniques advance.
And perhaps most importantlyโ€ฆ
You change. Your skin changes. Your body changes.

Finding an artist who understands how to grow with you over time is not something worth rushing โ€” or bargaining.

Last year I started recording a series about how artists should be able to build thoughtful, clear treatment plans with their clientsโ€ฆ
โ€ฆand have the discernment to recognize when they need to pivot โ€” whether that means adjusting the approach, correcting safely, or in some cases considering removal responsibly. Because the best outcomes donโ€™t happen by accident. They happen through intention, communication, and clinical judgment.

Saying yes to getting your brows done should feel a lot like saying yes to the dress youโ€™ll wear on your wedding day.

You donโ€™t bargain shop for it.
You donโ€™t rush the decision.
You donโ€™t pick the first one you see.
You take your timeโ€ฆ
You try things onโ€ฆ
You researchโ€ฆ
You sit with itโ€ฆ

Until you have that moment where you say:
โ€œThatโ€™s the one.โ€

Your brow experience deserves the same level of intention โ€” because unlike a dress, this is something you wear every single day for years.And when that decision is rushed, bargain-driven, or made without enough thoughtโ€ฆ
It can quickly become a regret people feel forced to live with, fade through, or correct in ways they never imagined.

I recently had a client reach out to book with me, cancel, and choose another artist instead โ€” which is always fine, I fully respect that - But just days after her appointment, she called me back. She wasnโ€™t happy with her brows and wanted to remove them immediately.

She thought about it for a long time.
She went back and forth.
She questioned if it was the right decision for her.
For almost a yearโ€ฆ she waited.
Not because she was afraid โ€”
but because she understood that permanency deserves careful consideration.

And truthfully? I respect that.
Permanent makeup is not something I believe anyone should rush into.
You should feel informed. Comfortable. Ready.
When she finally came in to get her brows done for the first time, she left saying: โ€œMy only regret is not doing this sooner.โ€ ๐Ÿค

Not because she was pressured โ€”
but because she realized her brows could still look like her, just more supportedโ€ฆ more effortless.

Youโ€™re doing it the right way.
When the decision is thoughtful, the outcome tends to feel even better.

I couldnโ€™t help but laugh when I overheard her saying, โ€˜๐˜Ž๐˜ช๐˜ณ๐˜ญ, ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ด๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฌ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ต ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ, ๐˜ ๐˜ฌ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ธ ๐˜ช๐˜ต ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ด ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ญ.โ€™ ๐Ÿ˜

That fun moment made me reflect on why Iโ€™m so dedicated to my process. Great brows start with great measurements!

In the PMU world, thereโ€™s always a debate about freehand design versus precise measurements when creating brows. Personally, I think both methods have their place, but from a clientโ€™s perspective, nothing beats the confidence that comes from knowing everything was measured down to the millimeter!

Before I put on my hat as a business owner, Iโ€™ve got to remember that Iโ€™m always wearing the hat of a mom! ๐Ÿ’•

Iโ€™ve thought about this transition for years and to finally be at a point where my daughter is heading into high school is so serial!

Her 8th grade formal was so cute! Iโ€™m so happy to see her celebrate all she wanted to accomplish this year and I am so excited to see her continuing to take steps towards becoming the woman sheโ€™s destined to be! Sheโ€™s been my biggest supporter both in my business ventures and personal ones - I literally canโ€™t imagine what my life would be like without her. Sheโ€™s blossomed into being such a beautiful, respectful, kind and genuine young woman. I couldnโ€™t be more proud to have her as my daughter!

Happy Monday!
Ever since I started running my own business, Iโ€™ve appreciated being able to make Mondays my Admin day. Had me thinking about when I knew I wanted to start my own business. Ever since I was a kid, I knew thatโ€™s what I wanted but the best reminder was when my boss thought I was trying to take her jobโ€ฆ but she was the CEO ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿคฃ Not only was I confused but HR was too ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ
