Uppercuts Barber Shop

I just realized I have not written an update on my progress. I had a new knee installed on 11/20, could not bend leg for 2 weeks. Continued staying in bed for 2 additional weeks. Started moving around, using wheelchair and/or walker. I’m still on the walker. My legs have atrophied from 13 month of non usage. I have no strength and very little stability. I tried the cans and fell the first morning I used it on my own. Got to work up to it. Still trying to get back to you all. Thank you for the love, prayers, and support.

Update on my progress. I’m still lying in bed, unable to get up and go anywhere. Dr. visit today, 10/01 and still have until 10/10 to complete the I’ve antibiotics, after which they will wait until 10/27 to aspirate my leg. If not infection is detected, they will proceed with surgery. I’m figuring around the first week of November. I realize this has been a long haul, and I appreciate everyone who has stood by me. I’m seriously am trying to get better as fast as I can. I hate just laying around like this but since I have no kneecap, I really don’t have much choice. Thank you again.

Back at shop today.

I came into UTMBat 6:15 Monday to have a Cardiac Mems unit installed. It would monitor the fluid in lungs and heart from home. Complications happened, heart rate went to 20, spit up a busload of blood,etc. they put a temporary pacemaker in me, said they put a permanent one in today. I think I need prayers. I’ll be back at shop ASAP. hopefully at the end of week.

Finally got power on at shop. Open at 9am Saturday.

In the spirit of cutting back, I will be closing on Thursdays starting on July 4th. I will be open Tuesday and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

I’m back at the shop. I’ve really had a rough go of it but came out on the other side. I appreciate all the prayers.

I am shooting on coming back on Tuesday it’s been a horrible ride

I tripped and fell Tuesday night/Wednesday morning resulting in my right shoulder hitting my amoire. Thus breaking my collar bone. I am unable to move my right arm at all. I’m not going to be in for at least 2 weeks. I’m sorry.
