Updates from Tabula Rasa

First and foremost I want to Thank all my clients ♥️ without all of your support I wouldn’t have had the opportunities I’ve experienced the last 1 1/2 years, thank you from the bottom of my ♥️.

As most know, my Mom passed away very suddenly in July. This has been very difficult and I’m still trying to process what happened. I’m learning that as I am strong, I also bottle my emotions and just shut down. So I do apologize if I have not reached out and forgot about anyone.

During this time my family was also in the process of selling our house. We decided it was time to go with our hearts and move South. This is also very personal for me as my mom and I discussed our entire lives of waking up to warm weather and palm trees. ♥️🌴

So a new chapter of Tabula Rasa will take place.

Coming Feb/Mar 2023 Tabula Rasa will have a new home in Gastonia North Carolina ♥️

New location is under construction 🚧 I can’t wait to share what I have planned 🪄

In the meantime I’ll be settling my family into our new home 🏡 and preparing to start the next chapter.

💡Hair Tips

~ Eat Your Way To Healthier Hair
Diet can have a significant effect on the state of your hair. I’ve seen and experienced this first hand. Foods that can make your hair healthy are Salmon 🍣 Walnuts, Eggs 🥚 Lentils, Spinach & Greek Yogurt

~ Don’t Wash Your Hair To Often
I used to wash my hair every single day 😳 unless your hair is producing to much oil, limit the amount you wash your hair. Dry shampoo is the perfect product to soak up the oil and reshape your style. My favorite Dry Shampoo is !

~ Use Conditioner On The Ends Of Your Hair
This tips 💡goes with the previous one ☝️ Could those oily roots be caused from not using your conditioner correctly 🤔 Conditioner is designed to replace moisture lost from shampooing and works to smooth down the hair cuticle. Applying conditioner to just the tips of your hair will help prevent your roots from looking greasy & dull. Have you tried ? With this product you skip the conditioner all together!! 👍

~ Don’t Brush Your Hair When It’s Wet
Wet hair is more vulnerable to breakage and can stretch and brake more easily when brushed. Try twisting your hair up 🆙 into a towel for 30 mins then use a comb instead of a brush. My favorite is ♥️

~ Don’t Over Style Your Hair
Limit the amount of time you straighten, curl and blowout your hair. When blow-drying your hair make sure it’s 75-80% dry before using a brush to reduce the heat from the blow dryer. When using an additional styling tool, always use a heat protectant. My go to is Heat Hero 🦸🏼‍♀️
