Here at Suite Life of Dawn and Jazz, we like breaking up our norm in getting to use our clippers and chop into shorter hair. We could actually never tire of it and this gent’s been one of our loyal faves for years!

Now, if you truly, 100%, absolutely plan on staying that same color forever, by all means. 🤣
Otherwise, your colorist WILL thank you for not using color from the drug store.

Box color not only has a bunch of harsh chemicals in it (which damage your hair), it can make lifting your color near impossible…until it’s aaall grown out. 😳
It leads to unpredictable results and the ones doing your hair want to be able to give you what you want, which is always our mission.

Plus, color corrections cost WAY more! Let’s get it right the first (and every) time instead, friends! 🤩

We’ve known Jess for several years now and when she told us she wanted to spice up her life for her 21st birthday, we were overjoyed to oblige. 🥳

Because she had previously used box color (we’ve all been there!), we began with a test strand and found that it wouldn’t be ideal to go lighter than what she came in with. So instead, we enriched the crap out of her color and the results had us swooning! 😍

The BIG change came in the form of her cut. ✂️
She told us she actually hadn’t really cut her hair since about junior year of high school and was looking to make a change. Welp, we did all the things 🙌🏻

HOW stunning is she with a mid-length cut with layers and super rich, dreamy brown??

How do you define success? 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s in the daily achievements for us.

Dawn began her career in the beauty industry when she put her foot down and decided to put herself and her dreams first.
She enrolled in cosmetology school just 6 months after Jazz and never looked back! Gone were the days of giving to others from a near empty cup. 🙌🏻 The journey and experiences have been worth it to boot!

Well, Pirvana AND our dear Felicia who spoils us rotten with Starbucks upon arrival. 😋

We did a double lightening process to remove prior red tones from the bottom layer of our LOVELY girls hair.
Then below the parietal ridge we organically placed each electric color (3 in total).
Tied in with a sweet neutral gold iridescent and a splash of red on her top layer to keep the warmth in her brown.

Breaking up the mold of traditional “Summer hair” ALWAYS leaves us ecstatiiiic! 🏖
