Swipe for before! After 10 years of doing hair I’ve learned so much. I look back to the beginning of my career and all the things I didn’t know. I’ve come so far! Now for my haircuts, I’ll do the base of the cut wet and then detail cut when it’s dry. There was a time when I didn’t even know that was a thing! That last step brings the cut together and helps me see how your hair lays naturally and I adjust the cut accordingly so you get the most out of your cut.

Magenta or purple and black? Which is your favorite color?

“I wish we did this sooner!” That’s what Anne said when I showed her her hair. I’ve been cutting her hair for a few years now and she has always had natural salt and pepper. More pepper than salt actually. With this haircut we decided to give her more salt. It looks so natural and brightened her up. She left with a big smile on her face 😍
This is such a good service for the gals that have gone natural who feel they need a bit of a boost with out committing to color again completely. This has a very natural grow out and won’t need to be touched up for a few months with home maintenance

Happy Saturday!! What is something you struggle the most with when it comes to your hair?

This is a before and after of Ariana! A super sweet young girl who was very excited to get black and red highlights.
As you can see from her before photo, she had some previous blonde on her ends. To make everything take evenly I did highlights and lowlights and then toned with an Red Violet. This service did take a few hours but was totally worth it!! As I’ve said before I love doing reds…. 😍😍😍

These shampoo bowls are not the typical ones you’re used to!! They have a super comfy chair to recline back, and a footrest as well. But the feature that makes them different is the head rest. That little black cushion is what you rest your head onto. Instead of pinching your neck you can fully relax and enjoy the head massage!!

Now that I’m running my own business I get to use products I truly love. Alluram is a newer company so their line is small but they are coming out with new products frequently. This line is:

Most of the products are coconut water based which is very moisturizing. Their shampoos still suds up which I love because most sulfate free products don’t give you that clean feeling. They also have Mallura oil which is actually the name of the line backwards.
If you can’t tell, I’m super excited about this product line. I’m all about enhancing natural beauty and this product line falls in line with that. It’s also very affordable and lasts for a long time
