Alright y’all… gather ‘round the campfire because it’s time for a little beauty science. So let’s chat.

HAIR: It does not grow at the same speed every month.Sometimes your roots come in slow, sometimes they come in like they’re trying to win a race.
When that happens, especially if your hair is dark, it can make thelightening process a little spicy. Toners help balance everything out, but they can fade at different rates. That’s why you might see some pieces staying ashy while others decide to go full brass band. It’s normal. It’s science. There is no crisis.

ACRYLICS: They are strong, not immortal. Acrylic nails can chip or lift for a whole buffet of reasons: Your body chemistry changes. Your medications change. Your environment changes. The chemicals you use at home are basically tiny nail assassins. If your acrylics suddenly start acting up, it doesn’t mean your nail tech forgot how to nail tech. It means your body decided to switch things up without sending a memo.

GEL POLISH: It lasts anywhere from “a few days” to “several weeks.”Gel polish is durable, but it’s not a force field. How long it lasts depends on:
*Your body chemistry
*How often your hands are in water
*How often your hands are in chemicals
*Your environment
*Your daily habits

I’ve seen gel last three days. I’ve seen gel last three weeks. I’ve seen gel yeet itself off a nail like it had somewhere better to be. It’s not you. It’s not me. It’s just how gel behaves.

The moral of the story: Your hair and nails are living, changing, reacting parts of your body. They don’t behave the same way every month, and that’s okay. I’m here to help you navigate it, with skill, honesty, and a sprinkle of Krisisms, but I can’t override biology.

Thank you for attending my Beauty Engineer talk.
