My world shattered this morning 💔
Wrigley was the first dog Scott & I got together as a puppy. She picked us out the day we went to look at the litter. We went thinking we were getting a boy German Shepherd, but she had her eyes on us the whole time. The second I picked her up, she smothered me in kisses, and I knew right then she was our special girl. 🩷
Wrigley has been our world, literally our baby, for the last 10.5 years. When I say she was the BEST dog, I truly mean it. She was the sweetest, most playful, loyal, protective dog I could have ever asked for. Everyone loved her… how could you not?
She was there through moves, building our home, growing my business, surgeries, miscarriages, celebrations, heartbreaks, and every ordinary day in between.
She wasn’t just part of our lives. She was woven into all of it.
A piece of my heart went with her today.
She will forever hold a special place in my heart. 🩷

One of the biggest misconceptions I see from newer extension stylists is thinking everyone else just “has it figured out.”
Like they were naturally confident.
Naturally booked.
Naturally successful.
Truthfully? Most of us were figuring it out as we went.
Building an extension business can feel really lonely sometimes, especially in the beginning.
That’s a huge part of why I joined Rich Stylist Academy 3 years ago. And honestly, being surrounded by the right people completely changed the trajectory of my business.
Now, I get to help guide and coach inside the same community that once helped me grow. 🩷

A lot of women sit in my chair saying the same thing:
“My hair is fine… I just wish it felt fuller.”
Just enough hair to feel prettier when they leave the house.
Enough to curl it and actually SEE the style.
Enough to not feel like the ends disappear.
Just fuller, healthier looking hair that still feels like HER.
The goal is always:
someone notices you look prettier…
but they can’t figure out why ✨

But not for luxury hair extensions 😅
One of the biggest differences in my installs is that I custom color extension hair to blend specifically for each client.
Because “pretty close” usually becomes:
too warm
too flat
too obvious
or doesn’t grow out naturally.
The tiny details are what make extensions look seamless 🤍
And yes…
sometimes that means coloring the hair before it ever touches your client’s head
Fine hair can grow long… and still never feel full.
The ends stay wispy.
The sides around the face feel thin.
And no matter how much it grows, the density just isn’t there.
Extensions don’t always have to be about adding length.
Sometimes just filling in the areas where fine hair struggles most- the sides, the ends, and the overall fullness.
Will result in hair that looks thicker, healthier, and finally balanced.
