This event isn’t just about gathering together; it’s about raising critical funds and awareness for Sturge-Weber Syndrome research through the Kennedy Krieger Institute . Every ticket, every raffle, every donation truly makes a difference in the fight to better understand and support those living with this rare condition.

At the center of it all is Calvin. If you’ve ever met him, you know he has a way of lighting up every room he walks into. His perfectly timed one-liners keep us laughing, his hugs can turn any day around, and his smile is as unstoppable as he is. Calvin is strong-willed, brave, and determined to be included in everything — and he has overcome more than most of us will ever face, all while showing us what true resilience looks like.

Calvin is the reason we gather. He’s the reason we fight for more research, more answers and more hope.

Sturge-Weber Syndrome is rare. And with rare diseases, funding for research is often the last to come. But families living with these diagnoses don’t have the luxury of waiting. Every day, they face challenges that impact their children’s health, development and futures.

That’s why our mission with Calvin’s Crusade matters so deeply. We’re fighting for kids like Calvin, and for every family navigating the unknowns of a rare disease. With more funding, we can bring hope, answers and progress where it’s needed most.

Our biggest fundraising event of the year is just around the corner. The Calvin's Crusade 2025 - Dine + Donate Event! will take place Sunday, September 7, starting at noon, at Dough Daddy Brewery.

Tickets are $25 per person and include access to food, soft drinks, live music and all event activities. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase separately.

We ask that you please register in advance for this event to help us determine how much food we are going to need.
