**New Waves Update - 6/19/20**

Exciting news.....

GREEN MEANS:
-Wear your mask
-Scheduling at 50% occupancy
-Appointments Only
-Sanitizers at every station
-All stations cleaned after each use
-3 Air Purifiers are now in the salon
-Stations are separated for safe distancing

It’s mean a long 15 WEEKS but we can’t wait to see you!

To our customers at New Waves Hairstyling,

First and foremost, we want to thank you for your patience and kind messages, this has been quite the roller coaster for everyone. Secondly, we hope you and all of your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. It is hard to believe that the shop closed 8 weeks ago on March 14. I am constantly checking the State & MontCo PA COVID sites for real-time updates and in the meantime trying to make plans that are continuing to be pushed back, revised and re-started time and time again. The unfortunate news is that with the current changes, I do not foresee us opening for another 6 weeks. It has been very challenging to “plan ahead” with constantly fluctuating statistics, announcements from Governor Wolf, & Montgomery Co press conferences. With that being said, I feel it is important to update you.

On April 20th, we scheduled clients for a tentative reopening beginning May 12 through the 16th for appointments that were abruptly cancelled in March. Regretfully, we now have to cancel all of those appts as well, and are so sorry for that.

PANDEMIC Facts:
-Originally salons would be allowed to re-open in the yellow phase but this has changed.
-Following Governor Wolf’s May 2nd announcement, due to the style of services & activity being offered, we (Hair Salons) are to remain closed during red and yellow phases.
-Salons are not allowed to reopen until we are in the green phase.

As soon as we are allowed to reopen we will update again ASAP!!!

In closing, we understand this is a lot longer than originally projected and appointments are long overdue but unfortunately, we are dealing with a very contagious and dangerous virus and both your and our safety and well-being are important. We truly miss you all and appreciate you standing by.

Big Thank You to Lina and her daughter Maddie for the shop window that was a nice surprise!
Hope everyone had a nice holiday, it sure was different this year.
Now down to business, I need to respond to a few requests we received about whether we would see clients now.
I really wish we could but the answer has to be we can not.
By law we cannot sell professional hair color as "color kits"
they are stronger than box dye and if anything went wrong we would be responsible, also we are not allowed to be within the "six foot guidelines" as everyone knows.
Believe me if we could be working we would.
We're dying to run our fingers through your hair, haha!
Hope you understand.
Ok on to a better note: here's what we are doing
-stocking up on hair color ALOT of hair color!
-cleaning and re cleaning the shop (what's a girl to do)
-we know you'll need a little more time in our chair next appt. no intention of rushing anyone in & out, you waited for us and we really appreciate and thank you for that.
-We will extend the salon hours on Saturdays open on Sundays and Tues. nights until we get caught up with appts.
So, hopefully the next update comes soon with at least a tentative opening date. thanks everyone, stay safe we're almost there. can't wait to see you. gotta go my hair color order is here at the house! really is! bye for now, Tammy

It is a Powder & Brush, Touch-Up Kit - used to blend gray at the part AND the sides of the hairline. They are also used to fill in and help make the hair look thicker. Fun fact, it can also be used on eyebrows too!
