We haven’t done anything to her hair for maybe 2 years and we decided it was time for a change!
Decided on cowboy copper mix to make it nice and warm for summer ☀️

Did some Lisa Frank inspired money pieces. The colors we used were blue, purple, pink, yellow & green. All lighter colors to get us ready for summer! ☀️

If you’ve ever thought about adding a pop of color to your dark hair but don’t want the commitment or damage, do it with extensions!
My client has been wanting to add “white platinum hair” for a while but didn’t want to commit to lightening it! We ordered custom 22 inch ITip extensions to make sure the length was enough to match hers and I just had to tone the extensions a bit to get the shade of blonde she wanted.

Time for my yearly post to introduce/re-introduce myself.

Hiiiiii! My name is Perla and I have been a licensed hairstylist for 9 years.
I just turned 31 last month and I have a babygirl that is 2.5 now.
When I’m not at work I’m usually hanging out with my baby or with friends & family.
I looooove to go to concerts🎵 ☀️
And love spending as much time as I can outdoors whether that means I’m hiking, biking or running!

She originally came in and just said she wanted hot pink or magenta but said she would give me free rein. I saw a tiktok of another stylist creating some pink chunky highlights and I just had to do it too!
If you haven’t noticed I’ve been on a pink craze lately and I’ve been loving all the pink creations ✨🌸

We added some extensions to add fullness and length but our goal is to grow her hair and eventually not need all 3 rows of extensions!

Not to be dramatic but I love my job and my clients that let me get creative. .cos told me the color scheme and then I executed it with a prism technique. This project took us 7 hours starting off with lightening the root area, retouching the black half, and color removing a bit to use the lighter color scheme.

Giving the alt baddies the hair of their dreams. Did this application take us 3 hours? Yes, but the result was so worth it. The vibes were Narcissa with some raccoon tails ✨

We had been coloring her dark and took about a year break from coloring. I thought while highlighting that there was going to be more banding but her hair actually lifted very nice! 😌We accomplished this with a partial instead of going super heavy with a full foil! We took it higher but still made it look lived in, this way she won’t have to lighten her hair for another 5-6 months 🙂‍↔️
