Let's talk about the lip flip. 💋

One of the biggest misconceptions? That it's the same thing as lip filler.

They're actually two completely different treatments and understanding the difference makes it much easier to decide which one is right for you! 😍

Lip filler adds volume and shape using hyaluronic acid.

A lip flip uses a small amount of neuromodulator (Botox®, Dysport®, or Jeuveau®) placed just above the upper lip to gently relax the muscle. This allows the upper lip to roll outward slightly, revealing more of your natural pink lip, without adding volume. 😘

A lip flip may be a great option if you:
• Want a subtle enhancement without filler
• Feel like your upper lip disappears when you smile
• Want to try a more natural look before considering filler
• Already have filler and want to enhance your results
• Are bothered by a gummy smile

A few things to know:
• Results typically last 6–8 weeks.

Your brow position is determined by a balance of muscles, some that pull the brow down (the depressors) and some that hold it up (the frontalis).

As we age, the depressors tend to win.

The result is a heaviness over the eyes that makes you look tired or stern even when you're not.

By precisely relaxing the depressor muscles, specifically the orbicularis oculi at the lateral brow and the corrugator, we allow the frontalis to lift the brow back to a more youthful, open position!
