2024 won’t be quite the same without the don Franco Christmas. It was always a pleasure to listen to the holiday joy and to see the many guests who came back into town who stopped in for a visit! We miss everyone and genuinely wish all of you a happy holiday season🙏🥰

A letter of gratitude to Genesee County and beyond.

All of the most heartwarming stories unfortunately have an ending. The 50 year story of dF is no different. It spanned 30 years of its founder’s life and 20 of his successor’s. In those 50 years it is impossible to imagine how many incredible beauty professional careers have been grown, how many lifelong friendships have bloomed, how many laughs were shared and how many tears shed. Using averaged data it is not unreasonable to say nearly 2 million services were provided over these years. That’s 2 million opportunities to make people feel better about themselves…it doesn’t get much better than that.

The number of characters in this story are too numerous to count but there are a few standouts who we feel are deserving of a special mention:
Mr. Frank DeLorenzo for his founding vision, Mr. Ghassan Saab for his belief in Frank’s vision and our dedication to it. Mr. Tommy Taylor for ALWAYS being our greatest cheerleader, Ms. Diane Wiselogle for her literal career long loyalty to our artist team, Mrs. Christine Feick for her unwavering lifelong loyalty to our desk team, and Mr Greg Jenkins for his decades long dedication to Frank’s vision. As aforementioned, this is only a special group of again hundreds if not thousands who consciously worked to make this story a reality. We thank all who believed in us and believed in the dream.

We can’t thank our team without also thanking our community. The support Flint and Genesee County has always given don Franco is equally mind blowing; it was all impossible without you. Your appreciation for our business ethic was more important to us than anything. Hearing positive feedback gave us pride that our hard work was valued.

It’s quite heartbreaking to us that this is the end. We wish it could have lasted forever or at least ended differently; however we can’t deny the 50 years prior were incredibly blessed.
