Cooler weather just rolled in — hoodies are out, and it’s always haircut season at Uppercuts.

If you’ve been thinking about switching it up, here’s a winter trend we’re feeling right now: The Low Drop Fade/Taper Combo.
This cut is a clean twist on a classic. The fade isn't taken to skin (.5-1.5), it starts lower just below the occipital bone, which gives a more sculpted look and keeps some weight around the sides and back — perfect for natural head shape and flow. It looks best with a little length on top for that textured modern vibe. Then we finish it off with a clean Skin Taper Fade for contrast and longevity.
For guys with flatter head shapes, this haircut is ideal — it helps create that natural curve and structure that high fades can sometimes take away.
