Earlier this year I offered a day of $15 kids cuts to help families get ready for Back-to-School time and I’m excited to share that I will be doing it again for Christmas! There are two dates to choose from this time (Sunday Dec 18 & Friday Dec 23) and sign ups must be done on the sign up genius link. Please do not use the traditional square appointment app to schedule 🙏

As the kids have been off to a great start in school I have been able to make some exciting changes in my business…

Let me back up a bit first. 2021 has been so full of growth for me already... some changes have been welcomed and good... some have been hard and I fought them like crazy... my goal has been to give it ALL to God. He’s teaching me how to love myself. How to be better Mama. How to be a better friend. How to be a better daughter. How to set boundaries and deal with all the guilt and anxiety that comes with living this super imperfect life. I am so grateful for all of the support and love I have surrounding me.

My career has always brought me so much joy... and the friends I’ve made in this industry along the way are a huge part of that. Saturday I went back home... James and the team at The James Salon & Spa are my family and it feels so right to be joining them again at the stunning Ada location. For now you can find me behind the chair on Saturdays and hopefully more in the coming months as I get the kids ready to go back to in-person learning in the fall. {My Heart} As I slowly climb out of the dark places I’ve been hiding in this past year I am reminded of my intense love for what I do behind the chair. My passion for creating, connecting and restoring one’s appreciation of their own beauty rests deep in my soul. It’s a gift I am truly grateful for. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This year was hard. Covid has been hard. The civil unrest has been hard. Relationships have been hard. Parenting has been hard. Staying in business has been hard. Losing people we love has been hard... it’s so important to talk about it and process it... but it’s also important to not be consumed by it. Find the glimmers of light. Make room for moments of joy.
