Hi friends! LAST CALL to sign up for our Miss Metro Cruise 2026 program! We currently have 18 contestants, and it's going to be a fun event this year.

Prize package for 1st place is over $1,000 worth of cash, gift cards, and gifts! 2nd and 3rd place also get a cash+prize package, and ALL contestants get a swag bag.

A great stop along Route 66

Have you ever wondered what is at the western end of Route 66 in Santa Monica? The alignment that lasted the longest (1936-1964) ends at Olympic Blvd. and Lincoln Blvd. There is a Mel's Drive-In at that corner. The first Mel's Drive-In opened in 1947. Parts of the original location in San Francisco were featured in the film "American Graffiti." Today, there are seven locations, including this one at the end of Route 66. Tell them you drove Route 66 and share some pictures and stories. They will give you a completion certificate.
