Gearing up for another trip to Central Oregon. This is still one of my favorite shots I’ve ever taken. I’ve been craving more creativity lately. Looking forward to making some magic happen this year. ❤️

I love photographing senior horses. They are so incredibly precious, and I love their wise, deep eyes. How lucky some of us are to see these horses live a full, long, happy life.
What a privilege it is to grow old. 🥰

Vincent Van Gogh:
"Many people seem to think it foolish, even superstitious, to believe that the world could still change for the better. And it is true that in winter it is sometimes so bitingly cold that one is tempted to say, "What do I care if there is a summer; its warmth is no help to me now."
Yes, evil often seems to surpass good. But then, in spite of us, and without our permission, there comes at last an end to the bitter frosts. One morning the wind turns, and there is a thaw. And so I must still have hope."

I'm still mentally processing what I witnessed tonight in the sky... These were taken around 9:00pm, well after the sun had set. The moon had something to say apparently. I'm curious if anyone sees what I saw in the pano. You may have to zoom and search... but once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it. Hard to deny a god when you see wonders like this. The beauty of life, as always, is that we will never see this day again. We will never see the sky the exact same way twice. Enjoy. Pale Blue Dot • Photography
*Full disclaimer!! There is NO AI work here! I have enhanced and edited in Lightroom and Photoshop. I did obviously stack photos for the pano, and I merged photos to get the second pic. Moon pic is unaltered except for basic enhancing and noise reduction.

This is my third year capturing this young lady and her horses. She's always so lovely to work with and such a natural in front of the camera.

So last night the sky was at it again with its beauty and I was inspired to pull out the DSLR rather than just iphone shots (which are still great). Click on the images for full view because a couple are tall panos. It's been a while since I've taken photos for pure pleasure. I do very much enjoy it, and found my inspiration again. Looking forward to getting back to more of this. ❤

The reason behind the name. This famous image of our earth from 6 billion kilometers, and the short essay by Carl Sagan sums up the inspiration behind the creation of my business name. It reminds me of our humanness, and our small and short time here in the universe. As an artist, I feel compelled to express life in many different ways, and to help others do the same, and one of those ways is through photography. 💙
