Raising a glass of recognition to my father, From the days of being a young man getting shown the ropes of doing hair. His idea to open a barbershop when we already had a successful hair salon, but he wanted more. It’s paid off in so many ways, not only does he work behind the chair he also is an instructor at Changes barbershop at the Oregon Youth Authority, he’s been a rock of integrity and patience.
Life’s full of noise and opinions, but he’s shown me the power of staying true to who you are. As I near 50, I’m grateful for the lessons and the legacy he’s passed on to me and I can tell you they have not been wasted. Here’s to you, Dad…you’ve made all the difference.
