The kindness and support this little shop receives never ceases to amaze me. Fern is settling into her role as Shop Pup beautifully, and being spoiled by such thoughtful people is definitely helping.

From tired, dry, and grown out to soft, dimensional, and effortlessly blended. ✨
This guest wanted something that would embrace her natural silver while still feeling polished and intentional. We refreshed her shape, added movement, and created a cool-toned blend that lets those beautiful natural sparkles work for her instead of against her.
The result? A low-maintenance color that grows out gracefully and leaves her looking refreshed without chasing root touch-ups every few weeks.
Sometimes the goal isn't covering the gray—it's making it look expensive. 🖤

Fern has officially survived her first couple weeks on the job.
Current skill set includes: stealing hearts, demanding attention, and occasionally remembering that outside is for potty breaks. We’re still working on that last one. 😅
Huge thank you to every single guest who has been so kind, patient, loving, and respectful of the fact that she’s still just a baby learning the ropes around the shop. It truly means more than you know. 🖤
Also — BIG shout out to my girl Rhianna for graduating cosmetology school and finishing the rest of her hours last week. Watching her grow into this industry has been incredible and I know she’s going to do amazing things wherever she lands. We’re wishing her nothing but success in her next chapter. ✨
The shop is now closed for the holiday weekend and will reopen next Wednesday.
I'm gonna try to take more afters and less just before. Hair goals, 🤣.

Freshened up before things got out of control ✨
We revived her faded color with rich blackberry and violet tones, added shine back in, and gave everything a softer more polished finish. Healthy hair, dimensional color, and just enough drama to catch the light from every angle. 🖤
Not every appointment has to be a massive correction. Sometimes maintenance is the move.

Two years.
Two years of watching from Wisconsin before finally sitting in my chair.
After multiple bad salon experiences, severe damage, and no color touch up since September, we went into this appointment with one thing first: honesty. During the consultation we talked about goals, expectations, hair integrity, and realistic outcomes.
I will never promise someone platinum perfection in one sitting if their hair can't safely handle it.
Under promise. Over deliver.
That’s how I thrive. That’s how I survive in this industry.
Before her appointment even happened, I sent her home with a complimentary bottle of Olaplex so we could start rebuilding and preparing her hair ahead of time. Healthy hair always comes before ego.
The end result?
Soft dimension. Blended brightness. Healthier looking hair. And most importantly — hair that still feels like hair.
Corrective color work is not quick, cheap, or predictable. It’s strategy, patience, chemistry, and trust. And I’m incredibly thankful when guests trust me with the process. 🖤✨
