So many people fail to understand how important human interaction is to maintaining real human connection and meaningful relationships. As great as technology is it’s also destroying real relationships. If you were on your deathbed would you want those who love to you to come see you, call you, or send you a text? Think about that…

I would like to introduce those who follow me to the owners of where I work. These two have been one of my biggest blessings since I’ve been in Connecticut. I am so grateful our paths have crossed. You both are really amazing people.❤️❤️❤️

Christmas circa 1971 with my dad just before he became Muslim. Although I don’t really get in to the holidays some of my fondest memories are during the holidays as a child. My dad was so much fun. I miss him EVERYDAY of my life. (I don’t own the rights to this music)

Mr. Joe L Dudley was the first icon I met in the hair care industry and was not only responsible for setting me up for great success in the industry but thousands of others. Today we lost a true pioneer of the industry! My deepest condolences to his family.

It is with a heavy heart I’ve learned of the passing of this icon of the cosmetology industry and owner of Leon’s Beauty School. She was and continues to be an inspiration to so many including myself. She gave many pearls of wisdom to so many. She will truly be missed.💔

So today was a big day for me in the salon! I did this face frame on a model today to see my technique. Both model and stylist (me) were happy. Now let’s get YOU scheduled next!
