In late 2021 I miscarried.

Here I was doing ceremonies, tying protection over the womb spaces of clients, walking women through their own journeys of femininity and self-love, and just like that, I was broken.

I have never wanted to be a mother. It was never apart of my agenda or purpose. My clock never ticked, it rarely came up. And then there were two lines and not one. The feeling of joy was remarkable, I had been chosen, I had been entrusted.

Nothing followed. Just pain, and blood, and tears. And a sense of loss that engulfs you, spits you out, and takes you back like a yoyo. So much grief.

But in pain, in loss, in grief, comes reflection. We learn who we are truly meant to be. I suffered this trauma and the many others in my life so that when you come to me, when you join our Collective. I can show you that your worth does not lie in what you are not, you are worthy simply because you exist.
You are beautiful, and you are us.

I REALLY appreciated everything you said to me and for me. Some words cut deep but I needed that so much. I appreciate your rawness and authenticity. And for saying that, "wanting validation is ok." It is not enough to collect amulets and adornments. It is not enough to have vision boards, and half used journals. Cards and spells account for not. The work is done in the confrontation. In the pure honesty and apology to self. To collect pieces of material does not fix the brokenness, that is on you.
