Many of you have already heard the news however I thought it would be a good idea to update you all on what is going on with me and my schedule. My Father passed away last Monday after a long battle with a rare cancer. I had to take some time off to grieve and help with funeral arrangements. Unfortunately this has caused some scheduling issues. I have had to move all appointments a week back from their original dates. I sent notifications through my booking site to everyone affected. I am trying my hardest to get everyone in to their appointments in a timely manner. With that being said, please understand the difficulty of what I am going through right now and remember that I too am a human being. I appologize for any inconveniences I have caused anyone but I am trying my best. And a huge thank you to everyone who has given me understanding and grace in my time of grief, I appreciate you ❤

Jerry Wayne Sullivan asked me to marry him in the sweetest, most memorable way possible. We went to Virginia to visit my Dad for Father's Day, and those of you who know me well, know how big of a deal this was! There was a lot of planning involved and I don't know how he was able to keep this a surprise. I am beyond excited, and so so happy that my Dad and my Stepmom were able to be a part of our special day. I love you Jerry and will love you for the rest of our lives ❤💍

You know that I love and value each and every one of you. Without your support and loyalty, I would not be where I am today.

2020 was a year of education for me. I poured a lot of time, energy and investment into my business and continued education. I try my best to give each and every one of you a unique and valued experience in my chair. 2021 means even better quality and value as I continue to surround myself with new education and techniques.

My goal with each appointment is to provide you with the newest trends, techniques and healthy hair. With that comes more investment. 2020 taught me a lesson in growth, both personally and within my business. It also taught me that I am in love with my path and want to continue to grow it.

With that being said, the time has come to increase my service prices. In order to grow my business, I have to compete with the rising prices of supplies and education. I will be revising my service list to include my strengths as a colorist, adding packaged services and some new options.

I am also super excited to let you know that I have made the decision to add a new service to my salon. I am currently on the path to getting my certification for Hand Tied Extensions. Many of you know I have been wanting this for the past year and I have finally decided to go for it!

The price increase will go into effect on April 1st. (I picked this date not realizing it was April Fools Day 🤣) I will be talking more about this, changes to my service list, and my hand tied journey in the coming weeks.

Well 2020, you sure were a blast...
I learned a lot this past year. There were some rough times (ahem, two month salon shutdown) and some really wonderful times. Going into the salon everyday with the strength to take on everyone's fears and strong opinions about things like covid and politics is pretty tough and I'm not going to lie, it wore me down mentally. I know I have been in ghost mode on social media lately and I apologize for that. I will strive to do better this year. It is one of my resolutions lol. One of the best things to come out of 2020 is reuniting with my father. After a 15 year hiatus of not having him in my life, we have reconnected and I feel like such a huge weight has been lifted. Holding on to all those guilty feelings from the past was not healthy one bit. And on the very last day of this tumultuous 365, I got to ring in the new year with my love, at home, in our pjs, with a glass of Champagne while we yelled JUMANJI to end the game of 2020. So here's to bright futures, accepting differences and loving yourself in the best way you know how 🥂🎉

I can't wait to see all of you! ❤ That being said, there are some new 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 each and every guest will have to follow to receive a service. I have outlined each of these in the infographic below. 👇⠀

1. Please wait in your vehicle when you arrive. I will text or call you when it is safe for you to come in. ⠀
⠀
2. Each guest will have to wear a mask during service. I will be wearing one also!⠀
⠀
3. Upon arrival you must sanitize or wash your hands. I have sanitizer and a handwashing sink for you to utilize. ⠀
⠀
4. I will be using a no touch forehead scanner and recording temps. ⠀
⠀
5. No guests! Only people receiving services will be allowed in my room and we are not allowing people to be in the waiting areas. Do not bring children unless they are receiving services.⠀

6. No food allowed. Drinks with sealed lid will be allowed. I will not be serving beverages.⠀
⠀
7. Please do not arrive late. Timing restrictions will not allow for tardiness and result in cancellation of appointment!⠀

8. Please be patient and kind. I am doing my best to sanitize between clients which means longer wait times between appointments and less services per day. ⠀

Have you heard the news? JUST KIDDING, I know you have. 💁‍♀️ Yes, salons are opening their doors again and I can't wait to see you all! I have been working tirelessly all day to reschedule appointments that were cancelled. Two months of cancellations is a lot to handle in one day! ⠀

I will be turning online booking back on tomorrow after I have heard from the last of my cancellation clients. Stay tuned for updated requirements for your salon visit. I ask that you please remain patient while trying to book your appointments. I am only one person and I am trying my best 🤗

Hey everyone! 👋 I wanted to keep you updated on the COVID-19 situation and how it affects my business. As of this week, I still have not heard from the government when salons and personal service businesses will be able to open back up. So for now, I will have to remain closed. However a little birdy 🐦 told me we may have some answers tonight so stay tuned! Although it’s tough to stay closed, I know that the government is doing their best to ensure that we can all return to work when it’s safe, respecting everyone’s health. And I'm so excited to start serving you again soon! 💇‍♀️ Many clients have been asking about appointments, and when I'll be opening them
back up again. Since I don’t know exactly when my doors will be back open, I've paused ⏸ online booking for the moment. I have two months worth of appointments to reschedule in the most fair way possible so please bare with me. I hope that I'll be making it available by mid-June. Of course I'll keep you updated on social and by text or email as soon as I know more! ❤
