We have forecasted lows around 25 degrees tomorrow early morning, with below freezing temperatures in the teens for a couple days after. I recommend the following action be taken. Leave your faucets at a slight drip that are farthest from your main valve to keep water moving through the plumbing. Even a trickle of water will keep pipes from freezing. Open kitchen and bathroom cabinets to keep the pipes warm. Disconnect garden hoses and cover external faucets with insulation to prevent damage to exterior pipes. If a pipe does break, it’s important to locate your water shut-off valve to stop the flow of water.
