Barbara's husband, Mike, has made significant improvements in his health and has been transferred for trach/ventilator removal and rehabilitation. Mike still has a ways to go. Please continue to pray! Barbara has resumed her work at the salon and invites you to schedule an appointment with her.

Most recent update on Mike Williams from Gracie Williams:

They did a scan and found internal bleeding, so if they couldn’t stop the bleeding they would have had to taken him into the operating room, which would have been very risky for his life. They did not have to do that, they were able to stop the bleeding by applying pressure for about 2.5 hours. There was a person applying pressure on him for 2.5 hours straight. When one medical team member was ready for a break another medical team member applied pressure at the same time as the other slowly took their pressure off to keep the same pressure throughout that time. And it worked out so they did not have to take him to the operating room thankfully! They have got him stable and they are now having him come off the heart support. That’s a good thing. His lungs are very messed up, so he is still on total lung support on the ECMO monitor. This is so serious still. Anything can happen, even though he is doing better than he was last night and stable, he is still very critical and there’s no certainty that he will make it. It’s a slow process, but hour by hour we’re going to look for improvement in his lungs and the infection and his overall stats. Right now he’s off blood pressure medication, and he is in regular heart rhythm. His heart is not as bad as they thought, that’s why they are taking him off the heart monitor. The lungs are the primary issue.
