Who loves a good podcast? I know I do! Starting next Monday March 4th on our YouTube channel, we are going to give you a fun and real series of videos for your mental health.

Mental Health has been declining rapidly in the US for years and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. What we can do is give you some pointers and provide some laughter on how to handle it and just know that you are not alone!

Myself (Kristan) and my co-host Antwuan Dorsey, are not strangers to the mental health world and its struggles. It's a daily fight and a fight worth winning every time!

I've been silent on this page for a while (I got locked out for a year, password issues 😩) but I was only doing one on one personal training in a small volume. Soon I will be helping you be more accountable and stick to your new healthy habits.

This year has been hard for me. Not financially, which I am grateful for, but mentally, and spiritually on me trying to find my place in the fitness world mostly.

I have struggled with finding my audience on knowing who I actually help with my craft and who to reach out too as I believe that I can reach out to people of all backgrounds. However, I have noticed that's not always the case.

Some have looked at me and can't relate to me due to not looking like me or I looking like them or people from my own culture not relating to me due to I being more different with my workout style then most of what they are used to. Also with my Pop Pilates classes and the other people that I see teach it having a certain personality and look about them that I just don't feel that I live up to because I am not them.

I don't know where I stand besides myself taking the time to deal with me and focus on my journey and whoever wants to follow and join are more than welcome to join. I had to step back and stop comparing myself to others and silence the noise.

I'm happy that I have the opportunity to leave what's familiar, in my case I left to the west coast for the rest of the year, to see life from a different prospective. From my journey I will learn, I will grow and I will come back stronger then I have before!

If you know me then you know that I don't like to be placed in a box. I'm always breaking the mold. Maybe that's who I am. But I'm here to stay in this world of health and fitness, I'll just find out where I am going to place myself and not where others will place me! Stay tuned I'll be back ready for you 💪

It's Monday, it's time to get that body moving.

When you sit at a desk job or just sit anywhere for too long your body tends to hurt. Then when you move you say that your body hurts because of the movement. No thats not exactly right. Our bodies were made for movement. When something stays in one spot for too long it's hard to move it. The joints aren't lubricated and it's painful to move.

When you have been moving and exercising your body hurts less and less when you keep that movement going. Our bodies need us to take care of it. The more we do the less we are in pain.

Don't believe me? Try it for at least 21 days and see the difference in your body. Come to class today at 6:30pm for your first day of movement.
