Haven’t seen hair this long in quite a while (before pics). Always exciting to be creative and have a big challenge to work out. We came up with this super cute curly razor bob. She gets lots of versatility with this razor cut. We all want options in our style right! And she looks so youthful and modern now!

Every look needs that one special element to make it stand out for the client. Here the bangs are the key. They make this long layered length much more modern and exciting. They also soften her face and nicely frame her eyes.

Some people you can just close your eyes and whatever happens will be amazing! Those blues eyes had me! I used a combination of razor and shear to cut off several inches to remove old dried high lighted ends and loosen up the texture. Her natural color is amazing especially with those baby blues. Added a little wave and the result was this.
Balayage is a great option to make your color more beachy! Here we brought out the beautiful warm golden and caramel tones to accentuate the brown.

This is how nicely hair painting can grow out over several months. Even though it’s time for the color, I wanted to show a before pic. You can have brightness without maintenance!
Here is a freehand hlt technique called hair painting (or balayage). I place each piece so it organically flows through the cut. Grows out gracefully and looks very natural!
Hair extraordinarily thick? The key to getting that soft airy movement is less bulk and less density. Weight removal allows your hair to have more bounce even when it’s very long. This can be achieved different ways but here we did it with a razor. The razor helps detail the hair so I get those nice wispy ends in the layers and remove thickness from select areas where it’s needed most. The result is a more free and wearable style.

Ever experienced streaky lines with your hlts? Try balayage! It’s a beautiful and seamless way to add color to your hair. Color is free hand painted through the hair to follow the natural movement of the cut. Grows out very soft and mimics what mother nature would do.

What a great change! Sometimes the move is to just let it go even if you have beautiful long hair. If it over powers you and you’re lacking “style” then it’s really doing nothing for you. This razor cut will give tons of versatility to be worn many ways and that’s a key to a successful result!
