Flash Back Friday!
I hardly ever service children, but I made special treatment for this one.😘 My daughter was about 5 or 6 here, maybe...She's turning thirteen soon!

This was one of her first blow-drying services.
Guys, I already know I took this picture to take a break. LOL. I wasn't even 1/4 of the way finishing her blow dry!

So many women, regardless of race, color, social status, or income bracket, who have and face some of the same life trials,.opportunities, and circumstances.💜
Years ago an organization called CUT IT OUT was formed for victims of abuse. I thought of it as this video popped up on my timeline.
The organization partnered with Salons to train Salon professionals to respond, advise, detect and give resources for victims of abuse because we work so closely with women on a regular basis.
They tell you things to look for in possible abuse victims. ✔Abuse is not just physical, it's emotional and verbal too.✔
As a stylist, people share things, intimate things with us ALL the time. that they wouldn't share with anyone else.💯
We are a possible catalyst for change.✔
Mentoring, business building, and transformational coaching is so much bigger for me than just a business.💜💜💜💜💜💜
It is an incubator for creating a ripple effect for change, upleveled well being, and financial stability(preferably freedom) for salon professionals who have SO MUCH POWER to reshare with so many who grace their chair and businesses.
Not as in counseling being their job, but opportunity always presents itself to provide a few life-changing nuggets of wisdom wisely eased in conversation a client shares. And we can't be a healthy soundboard if we haven't learned those lessons for ourselves in our own personal development.💯

I still offer services to my guest, they are truly limited times now in comparison to the 10-12 hours I use to be behind the chair, but I am more connected to the amazing industry as ever.
A few weeks ago, I gave a 1 Day Salon Intensive for a local salon owner and about 10 of her staff members helping them move their business forward.
She decided to have an offsite session and cater it for her staff.♡♡♡
The picture on my presentation slide speaks volumes as to our success in any area of our life.
