What is it and why should you get one?!

Let’s face it, anything with the word “vag” in it is an attention grabber and the service is exactly what it sounds like! Usually performed in conjunction with a Brazilian or Bikini Wax; its main function is to quickly reduce irritation and redness, as well as, treat ingrowns, breakouts and hyperpigmentation.

Each service is highly customized and starts with a double cleanse. Then if need be spot treatment and extractions followed by high frequency. Next I’ll mix and apply an Hydrojelly mask and finish with a light moisturizer so you can enjoy smooth skin and your fresh wax! 😻

As promised last week I’m back with tips and solutions for common post-hair removal problems and today we’re putting a spotlight on the dreaded...

𝙄𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙞𝙧.

It’s happened to everybody and they can pop up anywhere. Mostly making an appearance where there is “Terminal Hair” like what we grow on our head, underarms and groin.

Often it’s caused by too much dead skin debris blocking the hair follicle and causing the hair to grow sideways. The best prevention for an ingrown is to keep your skin exfoliated and moisturized.

Body exfoliants like a gentle scrub work wonders, except for the bikini area, where a simple wash cloth and non-scented cleanser (going in a small circular motion) will do the trick. Moisturizing is also just as important as it protects and softens the skin, allowing the hair to poke through without resistance.

Hi everyone! Well 2020 strikes again. I have been dealing with wrist pain for several years and learned recently that I will need reparative surgery on both wrists. ‪Beginning Nov ‬1st, I will be out of the office for these two surgeries. I anticipate being back to full capacity in early- to mid-January.

I am incredibly fortunate to belong to the Studio You community who have been so understanding and supportive. And, I know each of you understands how important it is to care for your well being physically and spiritually.

I plan to continue my posts with tips on skincare and products during my recovery. I will also be able to continue offering my line of Skin Script Rx products whether you have need to purchase a cleanser, toner, moisturizer and more. The winter dry weather is here and this is a great line to combat its changing impact on your skin. If you would like a skin consultation or a facial in the next two weeks I am available by appointment!
