How to protect yourself from cyclosporiasis North Carolina is reporting over three hundred cases of Cyclospora and it's a parasite often found in produce that can cause severe diarrhea.
✨What an honor to be asked to talk about explosive diarrhea on local television! 😉😂
Brought my one person entourage to make me look cool. 😎
Fox Carolinas does an amazing job keeping the community informed about local health concerns!
Hope to see y'all again on the 4 o'clock news to share other health tips and recommendations 🤓

I strongly encourage my patients to eat whole foods; however, I realize that it’s not easy. Almost 50 percent of foods and 40 percent of beverages sold at supermarkets are considered ultra-processed. These foods have been tied to chronic diseases, and a recent study links them to premature death. Here are eight tips to help lower your consumption of ultra-processed foods.

We worked hard for our patients this week! Thankful for these opportunities!

Many of my patients are very germ-conscious, regularly using hand sanitizers, wipes and cleaners at home and while on the go. But can taking these precautions really help prevent illness? Not necessarily. Here’s what you need to know.

Thankful for these encouraging words. I spent over an hour pouring over this patient's extensive testing with her. We celebrated together, the progress she has made in her wellness and overall health. She did the work while I cheered along! This happens everyday at Lumour Primary Care and Aesthetics. We partner with patients to help them live their best lives. Come find out how we can help you at your initial consult, no fees or strings attached. 864-609-3494

Studies show that patients in MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices like mine experience better health outcomes than patients in traditional practices.
A Primary Care Model with Better Health Outcomes for Patients - MDVIP Studies show patients in MDVIP-affiliated practices are hospitalized, use emergency rooms and urgent care centers less often than patients in traditional primary care practices.
Here's to those of you wearing the caregiver hat. I see you. Let me know if you ever need to talk 🫶
My skin journey starts here ✨
I spend my days helping patients care for their skin… But today I'm sharing something a little more personal.
Like many of you, I have my own skin concerns. Years of outdoor sports, sun exposure, and simply living life have left me with areas of pigmentation and changes in my skin that I'd love to improve.
So I'm putting myself in the patient seat and starting a 12 week journey with Sente's pigment tone, correcting mask. I'm excited to share the process honestly – – not because I'm chasing perfection, but because healthy, radiant skin is about consistency, education, and caring for the skin we have through every season of life. I'll keep you updated on my progress ❤️
