The AFTER AFTER PHOTO… here’s the story time on this beautiful human:

She was new to me, I was new to her. We had the lengthy consult, had a great time chatting, took some photos, and she went home. I got a message the next day saying how she wasn’t nervous to text me and wanted the top to be a little more blended and feathered up.
-
IMMEDIATELY I got a pit in my stomach and thought “omg she hates it.”🥴 So I had her some back in and we talked about how we could adjust what I had done originally. The best part? SHE WAS NICE! She reassured me AND I reassured her to not be afraid to tell me if something is wrong.

I have seen so much negativity online where people are bashing stylists because “it looks terrible” or “she has no idea what she’s doing” or “I paid way too much for this.”

I understand not being happy, I’ve been there myself. However the best thing you can do is communicate! Don’t be afraid to speak up. BUT, be kind. Us stylists are human at the end of the day and make mistakes.

I couldn’t have been more happy to help her and achieve what she was really after because she spoke up, was kind, and recognized me as a person with feelings.
