Words can’t describe how special this was to be apart of this Beauty Issue of and what a full circle moment. I had the opportunity to write for this magazine when it first launched giving all the hair tips and tricks!! I also remember having amazing conversations with about what her goal of Sass was while she was in creation mode!! To see what it is has become today is simply unbelievable!! To grow a community and to bring together so many like minded individuals is simply chefs kiss!!!

We are all on a Journey and sometimes it’s not how we envisioned them to go. I sure know mine didnt go as planned. Iykyk But I will say I wouldn’t change a thing. The lessons I’ve learned to the people I’ve met along the way have shaped me into who I am today!! So to that I’m grateful.

One thing for sure and let me say it loud enough for the people in the back who couldn’t quite hear, I AM NOT A QUITTER!! Never have been never will be. I may put have to put myself in a personal time out (a pause if you will) to think and reflect but after that it’s game on!!!

I know and can feel a new shift is
coming!! Journey Hair Lounge was created as a stepping stone in my journey as a hairstylist/educator/ independent salon owner but hopefully soon a platform for others to join along the way!! So stay tuned!! Changes are coming for 2026!!
