It's been awhile. It's really December too. Can't believe it! I want to apologize. I don't take the time to communicate online and I know I should. I hope everyone experienced a blessed, yummy and safe Thanksgiving! And for those of us that know how sad this time of year can be, I get you! We have another month or so and it will be done for another year! So, the countdown is on! Now, enough of that! Putting on my happy face... Blink your eyes and it will be 2026. Before Father Time takes all of December away, I wanted to tell everyone about Mariah Shives. I did make an effort to welcome her on Facebook a few months ago, but I wanted to let all of my email subscribers know about this beautiful lady as well. She is a 2025 Cosmetology graduate of Tech High and has been graciously helping me meet the beauty needs of my very loyal and steady clientele since early summer. While she isn't in love with doing hair, she IS in love with manicures, pedicures and facials. In addition, she will be adding lash tints and lifts in the coming year. I am so happy to have her here! With Mariah here and helping, I will be moving toward less time "behind the chair" next year. Now before everyone starts to panic, there is no need. This will take some time. Months, years perhaps. My body is my guide and right now I'm pretty darn tired. Mariah is heaven sent and she wants to be busy. Keeping her busy will keep her in the business. This is a priority for me. Everyone can help! Tell your family, friends, shout it from your rooftop! If I'm not able to get you in for a manicure or pedicure on your timeline, I strongly encourage you to give her a try. I've trained her. She knows many of my tricks! Many of my loyals know that I have been running a marathon since moving to this space in 2020.
