Three Growth Phases of Hair:

- Anagen Phase: The active growth phase where hair follicles produce thick, dark hair. This stage can last several years.

- Catagen Phase: The transitional phase lasting a few weeks, where hair growth slows, and the follicle shrinks. Hair detaches from its blood supply.

- Telogen Phase: The resting phase lasting several months. Hair is shed, and new hair begins to grow beneath, preparing to start the cycle again.

This is why your first wax might not yield perfect results! As illustrated in the picture, hair is growing in different stages.
