Hi friends!! Deya, here! I wanted to share some memorable moments of 2024 with all of you. As you know, in May we sold the salon. It was a huge decision after 18 years of pouring my heart in to it, but it was necessary to move forward and take new chances!

Shortly after the salon transitioned to the new owner, my husband and I joined a team of missionaries for a medical mission trip in Cuba, visiting many hospitals around the country. My favorite was spending time in the pediatric units with all the adorable kids!

When we returned I decided to focus on my family for a little while before diving in to my new career. My daughters are becoming teenagers and I have 5 grandchildren from my sons and their beautiful wives. They keep me busy, but they grow up so fast! I don’t take a single second spent with them for granted!!

I enjoyed a summer trip to Europe with my husband & daughters. It was a trip of a lifetime! My girls were able to check off 4 new countries!!

In the fall, we partnered with a local group from Butler County and delivered supplies to North Carolina after the devastating hurricane. There is still so much to be done there. {I’d be happy to give you more details and information if you’d like to help. We cannot forget these people, our fellow Americans.}

Having a passion for interior design and experience in flipping houses over the years, I decided to become a real estate agent. I’ve completed all the courses and will become an official agent in early 2025! If you buy or sell, please consider me!!

Although this year was “mostly” wonderful, my sister in law received a breast cancer diagnosis. She had a long journey, but has fully recovered and is cancer free!

Then our family suffered a tragic loss of a 21-year old loved one in a car accident just before Thanksgiving.
I have no words to describe the grief and pain of that.

But God. God has carried us through the bad times.
He has given us many good times and for that I’m ever grateful! I have to remain positive and trust Him for our future.

I don’t have resolutions for 2025, but I have lots of prayers, declarations, and anticipation! I ask God to bless each of my friends, clients and former staff. And I thank each of you for all the years of love, support and friendship at Masters Touch Salon.

Today is the last day of an incredible
18 year, 7 month era as “Bosslady”.
Masters Touch Salon will live on, although I have no idea what I will do as a career just yet. I’m giving myself time to enjoy the summer and see what it feels like to sleep at night…not worrying if someone will quit tomorrow or if clients are happy for the week, if toilet paper is stocked, or if there is starting change in the drawer. 😆

I am proud of what Bob and I built. I am grateful for the favor and blessings from God. I am humbled by the ten thousands that walked through the doors. I have so many memories that make me smile deeply. I have felt so much love. ❤️❤️❤️

May I please have a minute of your time? I am grateful for the opportunities you have given me to grow my business and make a lot of money. I have been mostly very happy here at Masters Touch Salon, but I’d like to put my two weeks notice in. 📝

Although At times, it felt like I was in a game of Survivor or even Hunger Games,😅 this has been the classiest and most wonderful place to work. The people that have worked alongside me are special and many friendships have been made. You have been a very fair and caring !
