Did you know that many traditional lip balms are made with petroleum?

Twenty years ago, I didn’t.

I started making my own products because I wanted something better for my family—and for myself. I wanted ingredients I could recognize and trust, without all the unnecessary chemicals.

The very first product I ever made was lip balm.

Years ago, I went to the doctor because the pigment around my lips was disappearing. It looked like I had lip liner on all the time. When he asked if I used lip balm, I said yes. He explained that many conventional lip balms are petroleum-based and suggested I stop using them.

That conversation changed everything.

I started creating a lip balm made with nourishing, skin-loving ingredients—no petroleum, no junk. Just ingredients that help moisturize, protect, and heal.

Soon after, I got my first big opportunity at Findlay Market, and it was the encouragement of my customers that inspired me to keep creating. One product turned into many, and here we are, 20 years later.
