July is for healthy hair, protective styles, and looking your best all summer long ☀️✨

Around this time last year, I was forced to start over.

What should have been a normal workday turned into a major setback when a ceiling leak caused significant damage to my salon suite. Between the disruption, the repairs, and trying to figure out what came next, it would’ve been easy to feel defeated.

But here’s what I learned:

Sometimes starting over isn’t a sign that you’ve failed. Sometimes it’s a necessary part of the journey.

The reality is that every dream, every business, and every goal will encounter roadblocks. Some are small. Some are big enough to make you question everything. But your vision doesn’t disappear just because life throws an unexpected challenge your way.

There were moments when rebuilding felt overwhelming, but I kept showing up. One decision at a time. One project at a time. One day at a time.

And looking back now, I’m grateful I didn’t allow a temporary setback to become a permanent excuse.

So if you’re currently in a season where it feels like you’re starting over—keep going.

Your dreams are still valid.
Your goals are still possible.
