Ashley brings more than 12 years of experience in hairstyling, cosmetology education, and leadership, with a background that includes Vidal Sassoon, TONI&GUY, and most recently, Collectiv Academy. Her passion for mentoring emerging professionals makes her a wonderful addition to our team.

In her new role, Ashley will recruit, train, and guide our newly hired associates through their one-year training program, helping them build the skills, confidence, and artistry to become Level 1 Colorists/Stylists.

At Charles David, developing the next generation of beauty professionals is an investment in our team, our Guests, and the future of our industry. We’re excited to have Ashley help lead that journey.

Lunch after the tour at the student’s favorite…..Chick-fil-A!

Some of the most rewarding moments in our industry are the ones we share with its future.

Today, we welcomed the students of Plymouth South High School’s Cosmetology Department to our Hanover Salon & Spa for a tour, introductions to our team, and a conversation with David and Buddy about building a career in the beauty industry.

The visit was especially meaningful because their newly appointed department head, Julie Moulton, began her career at Charles David. She later discovered her passion for teaching and spent several years educating aspiring beauty professionals at the school before stepping into her new leadership role. Seeing her return with her students was a wonderful full-circle moment.

To finish the visit, David and Buddy surprised the class with a $2,000 donation toward their trip to the International Beauty Show in New York City this coming March!

With school funding increasingly stretched, we wanted to help make this inspiring educational experience accessible to every student in the class.

To Julie, her assisting Educator Cassandra, and their students: thank you for spending the day with us. There is so much possibility ahead of you, and we’re proud to play a small part in your journey.
