Ayala’s love for nature was sparked by the landscapes of the RGV and deepened through his participation in the Texas Master Naturalist program. Though his career began in social work, he now blends his passion for community and conservation as the Vice President of the Native Plant Project and an Environmental Education Specialist at Quinta Mazatlán, where he helps people of all ages connect with the wild spaces around them.
