Did it take 8 hrs? Yes.
Can everyone do it? No.
Will I do it just because you have the money?
No, and here’s why👇🏻
I got home at 11pm, I tweaked a disc in my back and it took 3 days to stretch it out. I cried the next morning at sport clips because I’m so tired and burnt out in that sometimes I need a moment to just cry it out.
Did I enjoy this challenge? Absolutely. This client was amazing and it humbled me a bit, which I think all stylist need sometimes. I’m not young anymore.
So why did I do it?
Because this client hasn’t had her hair done in over 2 years. She came from New York to visit her family in Pennsylvania and she picked me to do her hair before she went back home. I know her hair will last her a while if she can’t get in somewhere or until I see her maybe a year from now.
I did it for her, I did it for the business, I did it for the sake of doing hair and proving to myself I still got it 👊🏻
