Hello, we were just informed that someone named Kim is utilizing our business name to book clients and taking deposits for Sisterlock installation appointments. Please know we DO NOT have an employee name Kim that works here at Natural Hairitage.

1- Only staff we have is Desiree DeFoor and Ingrid Blount.
2- We do not request deposits over the phone for appointments or Sisterlock installations, a in person consultation is always required.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks to each and everyone of you for your understanding and pataince during this unprecedented time. As you all know, the pandemic of the Covid-19 virus has affected the world on a large scale, to the point of affecting all of us individually.

On March 15, 2020, all non-essential businesses was ordered by Governor Wolf to close until May 8, 2020; in turn that has affected appointments for the last few weeks of March, the entire schedule for April, and the first week of May.

The only way we will be able to reschedule everyone is to shift the months. If you are scheduled for May, your appointment will be moved to June and March/April appointments will be move the May.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this will cause anyone, but this is our best option.

Please do not try to reschedule your March, May, or April appointment, because you can be accidentally be moved to June or further out.
If you went onto the system to cancel your appointment for March or April and tried to request for May, please go through your client portal and message us of your original date.

Once we have shifted everyone and rescheduled appointments; we will be open to change if there are conflicting dates for you.
Please Do Not respond to your new booking date until we send a message of completions. It will become very confusing if we are trying to rebook and messages come in at the same time.

When we first heard of the Covid-19 virus, we never thought it would affect us, never the less have an impact on our business.

When it was suggested to close, we had decided not to because serving you was important to us, however when it became mandatory we had no other choice. When it was extended for the entire month of April, that's when panic set in.

Although we have been deeply affect by this pandemic financially; the one thing that continues to comfort us, is the out pour of love and support both emotionally and financially our Natural Hairitage family has been given to us. We are overflowing with gratefulness from all the love.

You all have shown what the true essence of Natural Hairitage is, and that is LOVE!

Natural Hairitage Sisterlocks Quarantine Survival Tips

For Sisterlocks a year or less or haven't reached maturity

1. BE sure to braid or twist and rubberband (ie bundle) your locs before washing and allow them to dry completely before removing the braids or twist. This will help eliminate slippage.

2 Be sure to separate your locs. This is your grooming process.

3. Try not to manipulate the locks to often. The best thing about our locs is, we don't have to do anything!!

4. After washing and drying your locs, you should be ready to go!!!

For Sisterlocks over 2year and fully mature

1. Be sure to wash your hair during this quarantine, if needed.

2. Be sure to separate your locs.
We want to keep them from connecting. Try to do this often, especially the clients that are missing their appointment this month. It will help both of us when it comes time for your retightening.

3. Wash it, set it, and forget it!!
Do a braid out, twist out, roller set, ponytail, ect. Give yourself something that you don't have to mess with your locs.
