Hey guys!! As we go into they busy holiday season it is going to be crazy. I (Ashley) am taking on some subbing, because they are very short subs. Not enough subs, school can’t be in session.

I am still very available to you, just shoot me a text or call.

You may see cars here when I am not... Michelle is coming in occasionally.

I will be back in the salon starting next week Tuesday May 5th. I am waiting on a few thing I need to come in to be able to safely be back in the salon. Here are a few temporary procedures that will be in place when we open.

IF YOU ARE COUGHING, SNEEZING, SICK IN ANY WAY, INCLUDING “ALLERGIES”, PLEASE RESCHEDULE. Covid or allergies is not a game I want to play.

1. Please wait in your car until invited in the salon.

2. You will have your temperature checked, be asked some basic questions, and sanitize your hands upon entering.

3.I will be wearing a mask for your safety, you will be wearing one for mine as well.

4. Only one appointment will be performed at a time. There will be no double booking. Please don’t bring anyone.

5.If coming for just a cut, please come with clean hair. I will only be shampooing color services.

I will be contacting customers that were cancelled first, and go down the list of appointments from there. There will no NO WALK INS. Please call after Monday if you haven’t heard from me.

I know this seems extreme but it is for the protection of my family and yours.

I guess next week is the week. There will be changes on how things work at Attitudes. The heath dept should have their guidelines by mid-week. I will post more then!

Ok so I have seen a few times a petition for people sign about letting hairdressers work: here are my feelings, I would love to hear yours. (I will be going back when we are allowed to, I am just curious). Right now looks to be May 4th.

Hairdressers are not essential, but very much missed.

Cons:
1. Cutting hair with gloves takes our sense of touch. If we can even find gloves.
2. A lot of salons have chairs that are closer than 6 ft.
3. We work in a space that is only allowed to be in by medical professionals, loved ones, and us. Putting our loved ones and other customers at risk no matter how you cut it.
4. People will lie and come in sick! It happens ALL THE TIME!

Pros:
1. We can get back to servicing the customers we love and miss.
2. Money, let’s be honest, that’s a big part of this.
3. A sense of normalcy, whatever that is these days.
