Got this young girl in for her summer hair color! I did a halo foil pattern with teasy lights for softer grow-out!

Color correction can be wild 🤯 5 hour correction and I’m ready for bed. It turned out sooo good!

Hair backstory and what I did during her appointment.

She had done a ‘chocolate’ box color and it went way darker than she hoped. (3rd pic)
I started by doing Malibu color distrubtor for 20 mins shampoo 3x with their undo goo shampoo. I then used their DDL. (2nd pic)
Colored with redken alk 1.6 oz 6n 1 oz 7n with teasylight lights for soft dimension. Toned 7nb & 8n shades eq

I could not have asked for a better outcome!

Can you tell that this momma hasn’t gotten her hair done in over 3 years!? Handpainted balayage is a great way to blend out old blonde. Not only does it provide natural depth but also brightness! 🔆
