Good afternoon Clients and Friends!!!!

So, what a long month of January!!!!
So ready for FEBRUARY !!!!!! Feels like a NEW YEAR! 😆 Finally!
That being said, we ALL experience unexpected events and changes that LIFE can bring. (I know and understand this all too well)
However, I unfortunately had 3 huge cancellations throughout this month of January, less than 24-48 hours before the scheduled appointments.
What this means for me is ZERO income. I rent my space to keep up with all my wonderful clients and friends. I keep up with your hair needs as best as I possibly can!!!
I depend on the part-time income to rent my space, keep inventory of supplies, and support my 2 teenage kids and family.
If you cancel the day before, or hours before, my income is $0.00 for that day. If I have BOTH days for that week cancel, my income for that week is $0.00.

Starting TODAY February 1st 2024, I will be asking you to keep a Credit card on file with me. My new policy starts TODAY. I will be charging 20% of your services if you do not cancel 24-48hrs in advance. I understand things come up. I understand things happen unexpectedly. I also do not want anyone to feel obligated to come in sick. Those things do happen and from now on, I reserve the right to determine to charge you at least 20% of the service.
I truly appreciate each and every client and friend for respecting my career, my weekly income, and new cancellation policy.
It means so much to have your support, kindness, and understanding.
Booth renting Stylists do not get paid sick time, a set salary, or family emergency paid time off. We simply run small businesses. We depend on your support and respect to keep our businesses running for YOU!!!!

As most of you know I was on a Family Medical and Bereavement Leave for a little over 6 weeks 😞

My Schedule will be same days but hoping to better serve my daytime guests on Tuesdays. Especially those who prefer not to drive in the evening during daylight savings time.

Tuesdays - 12-4

Thursdays - 5-8

I hope to possibly add Wednesdays in the future for any additional overflow to serve my dear Clients / Friends if needed/as needed through the Holiday Season.

Everyone scheduled this week be patient with The Cove Day Spa our hot water tank went out and will be in and replaced no later than next Monday! Dear Clients and Friends,

I’d like to ask for prayers first and foremost at this difficult time for my family. Those of you that know me, know that my Uncle recently passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Also, those of you that know me, know that he was my Grandmother’s primary care provider. Those of you that know me, also know that I help out weekly with my grandmother’s care. This being said, we’ve had to make some difficult decisions and adjustments and sacrifices to keep her comfortable, care for her, and make arrangements while grieving our loss.

I will do my best to keep my current schedule after the family adjustments are made and In place. I may be out a few weeks until we make our future schedule and adjustments to our daily and nightly routines.

Please look to The Cove Day Spa Website to find any answers to questions and to any recommendations for a stylist in my absence.

Thank you for your patience with me during this difficult time and thank you for your prayers most importantly.
I will look forward to seeing you all and continuing to provide my hair services again as soon as possible.
