As summer approaches, many are looking to change their look with a little color. This beauty was one of those! After many years of not coloring her hair at all, she wanted something brighter but not super light. She also wanted a "lived in" look that would have a seamless look as it grows. SAY LESS!! Her wish became a reality and her new look is absolute 🔥🔥

This lovely client found herself in an unfortunate situation after attempting to first box color her hair, then let an inexperienced individual attempt to bleach the box color out. 🤯
When she arrived to the appointment, I consulted with her while inspecting her hair and scalp. Fortunately for her, she had very healthy,strong hair prior to this. Unfortunately for her, while her hair health isn't worse case, its definitely alot dryer and needed ALOT cut off as a result. Also, she experienced some blistering on her scalp from the bleach being left on a lengthy amount of time. 😞
She was understandably upset. To make matters worse, her child is graduating high school next week and she didnt want to attend with her hair in such a state and was desperately wanting me to make it look "better"
Due to the amount of damage to her hair and scalp from the previous box color and bleach, I knew I was NOT applying anything that would impact her scalp further OR applying any kind of lightener to her already damaged hair shaft. My remedy: K-18 and alot of lolights using a very mild formulation as well as cutting approximately 6 inches of length off and adding alot of long layers.
The results were amazingly good!! The after picture doesnt do her look justice! ( we were unable to take pictures outside due to conditions at the time) Her hair not only looks better, it feels much better too! And, she has now vowed to NEVER attempt this again! 😁
