One small change that made production easier…

Using piping bags for thicker scrubs.

Cleaner fills.
Better portion control.
Less mess.
More consistency between jars.

Sometimes the smallest process changes make the biggest difference.

Things I stopped doing as a cosmetic formulator…

One size doesn’t work for every purpose.

Some packaging is meant for retail.
Some for sampling.
Some for introducing someone to the product without overwhelm or waste.

Now every size has a purpose.

Things I stopped doing as a cosmetic formulator…

Not every herb works best the same way.

Some ingredients are better suited for oil infusions.
Others perform better in water-based extractions.

Now the method depends on the formula - not habit.

Things I stopped doing as a cosmetic formulator…

More isn’t always better.

Every ingredient should have a purpose - and work well with the rest.

That’s where the difference shows.

Things I stopped doing as a cosmetic formulator: treating wholesale like it’s just bigger packaging.

At this scale, consistency matters even more.

Every batch and every fill has to be right.

Things I stopped doing as a cosmetic formulator: letting my infusions take all my time.

Infusing oils takes time… but it shouldn’t take all of yours.

Depending on the batch size, I adjust my method and use a timer so I can step away while it does the work.

Do you have any gadgets to help with infusions?

Things I stopped doing as a cosmetic formulator: measuring in cups and tablespoons.

They’re not precise enough for formulation.

Using scales allows me to measure accurately…
and keep every batch consistent.

Do you measure or weigh your ingredients?

Things I stopped doing as a cosmetic formulator: adding powders directly to infusions.

It creates sediment that has to be strained out multiple times.

Using a tea bag keeps the infusion cleaner and the process simpler.

There are so many options out there… and yet, you choose me 🥹💜

Whether you’re coming back for another order, telling someone about my brand, or trusting me with your skin… I don’t take any of it lightly.

This isn’t just products to me - this is something I’ve built with intention, and every bit of support reminds me I’m on the right path.

I see you. I appreciate you. And I’m so grateful for you.

Things I stopped doing as a cosmetic formulator: buying expensive filling equipment.

For smaller batches like this, a simple setup works just as well.

It keeps the process efficient…
and gives me more control with each bottle.

No extra equipment needed - just a process that works.
