A little something you might not know about me… 🤍

Before having my babies, I used to do A LOT of bridal and wedding party makeup! It was such a big part of my career, and honestly, something I've always really loved doing.

After having kids, I took a step back from weddings and focused more on my family and my everyday salon clients. But I've had the opportunity to be part of a few weddings this year, including this past weekend, and it's reminded me just how much I miss it. 🥹

There's something so special about being part of someone's wedding morning, getting everyone glammed up, and seeing all the excitement come together.

With that being said… I'm thinking 2027 might be the year I start taking on more weddings again! 🥂

I love creating blondes that are bright and beautiful but still have that soft, lived-in feel. Dimension really does make all the difference!

AI vs. real hair 👀

I wanted to share this because I think it’s something that’s becoming more and more important in the hair world!

AI can actually be a really great tool when you’re using it to show your stylist what your hair inspiration is or the overall vibe you’re going for. But the tricky part is… it’s really hard to recreate something that isn’t real. 🤍

AI doesn’t have to consider previous color, underlying pigment, warmth, damage, porosity, density, or whether the hair can actually handle getting to that end result. It can make hair brighter, thicker, shinier and perfectly blended in seconds.

So PLEASE keep bringing me your inspo pictures! I love them and they help me understand exactly what you’re drawn to. Just keep in mind that if the photo is AI-generated or heavily edited, we may have to take that inspiration and create a realistic version for YOUR hair.

These photos are such a good example, the originals are real hair that I actually created, and the edited versions show just how easily AI can turn an alreadpy beautiful result into something that may not actually be achievable in real life.
