These are the top lessons 8+yrs of lashing has taught me that keep your natural lashes and extensions healthy:

1. Picking your natural lashes will weaken and can even break the adhesive bond, as well as damage your natural lashes.
2. Mascara and pencil eyeliners leave residue on the lash and can create unwanted and unsanitary buildup.
3. Please have your lashes professionally removed to avoid damaging your natural lashes and wasting your energy when the coconut oil doesn’t work.
4. Clean lashes last longer. A daily lash bath truly makes a difference.
5. Avoid steam, saunas, high heat will drop the curl out of the lash and can singe the lash tips.
6. Sleeping on your face crushes your extensions (and your investment).
7. Lash fills aren’t a luxury — they’re essential maintenance.
8. As long as your natural lashes maintain their health, there’s no medical need for a “lash break.”
9. If your lashes were short and thin to begin with, a natural set is the best path to go to keep them healthy.
10. Your lash artist should be professionally licensed. Period.
