Only old heads will remember how the Air Force was in the mid-80s
1. If you enjoyed grape soda, your first sergeant would send you to urinalysis
2. If you werenโt a club member, you received all the bad details. Your APR aka EPR would be marked down
3. The club hosted "go go" dancers on certain days
4. You couldnโt shave your head bald
5. You could smoke in your office
6. Drinking was highly encouraged, you could enjoy alcohol at commanders' call and lunch.
7. If you fail to meet weight standards, you were placed on the Fat Boy program.
8. You got paid once a month via a paycheck. The Air Force forced people to enroll in a program called, "Sure pay".
9. If you worked in an office, you wore blues.
10. The base hosted monthly retreat ceremonies and change of commands was always outside events.
11. You were heavily penalized for attending off duty education. Your peers and bosses consider you a slacker.
12. Fraternization was illegal. Officer married to Enlisted, one of them had to get out.
13. If you played on the base football team, you could get away with murder
14. You were considered government property. So if you got a sunburn, you would get paperwork
15. Leaders did not smile in official photographs
16. If you were overseas, you had to secure your commander's permission to get married
17. Midnight chow was the best You had to be in uniform to eat.
18. Takeout was illegal, You would be prosecuted for stealing if you took food out the dining hall
19. The dorm parties were legendary
20. You were lucky to have a roommate in the dorm to bounce problems, challenges and struggles off.
21. Rather than getting promoted, the focus was more on having Fun and having pride in the Air Force.
22. Tattoos were heavily frown upon, you would get kicked out if you had too many
Just a few points on how the Air Force changed, guess I will be getting my urinalysis notification tomorrow.

Sew I made a whole dress. ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ Iโm not sure if Iโll ever made it again. It didnโt take long. It wasnโt very complicated except it was first time making a pattern without videos playing. I struggled a bit and I almost gave up about 50 times.
It's going to be a night to remember.
Ladies, here are some tips for your tresses since summer is upon us. ๐๐ก
1. Moisturize Moisturize Moisturize!
It is so hot and those sun rays will suck up any and all moisture from your hair, leaving it dry and undesirable ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ. Carrying a spray bottle, with water and your favorite oil for a quick spritz throughout the day will help combat the dryness.
2. Wear twists.
Twists are easy to maintain and style. They even look better (in my opinion) once they get a bit frizzy ๐
3. Wear your Bonnets by T. Mack bonnet nightly!
This satin bonnet will keep your hair from becoming dry and brittle. It will also maintain the moisture from your nightly moisturizing routine to promote healthy hair growth. ๐๐พโโ๏ธ
