That’s exactly why I created The Softening.

This isn’t just an event—it’s a space for you to release, reconnect, and come back to yourself without pressure.

We’ll have:
• guided healing exercises
• a licensed therapist in the room
• guided meditation with a spiritualist
• brunch, journaling, and real connection

You don’t have to carry everything by yourself in this space.

Allow me to reintroduce myself. I am the face behind the brand Inner Gleaux Beauty and my name is Ebony Brown. I am 36 years old and originally from Lake Providence La but I currently reside in Houston Tx. I have a daughter name Khloe and three puppies; Gizmo, Bella and Jaxx. In life most women carry this internal burden of fixing everything. We are naturally nurturing to those that are close to us and our hearts. We often give more than we receive and in most cases end up with an empty cup. If you deploy your cup and there's no one to replenish it you're left empty, feeling alone and drained. You have to know and understand it's power in saying NO. It's health in setting boundaries and correcting people or distancing yourself when they disrespect those barriers you've set to protect yourself and your peace.

There is nothing wrong with choosing to put you first. You have to allow yourself to have a safe space and create it. We teach people how to love and treat us by what we allow. Stop allowing people you love to manipulate you or use you. When you see people for who they are believe them and treat them accordingly. Does that mean hold a grudge? Absolutely not because grudges are a waste of energy. What it means is now you know you have to set a boundary for this person and you get to choose what that looks like. If it's not sharing what's going in your life thats okay. However it looks and feels right for you then do that.
