“I colored my hair black and I want to go back to my natural hair color.”

This can be done but it’s tricky and it will be a process. Color doesn’t lift color. This means you must use a High-lift Lighter which could cause damage.

This beauty wanted to go darker but her hair pulled very very dark. Several month later she wanted to go back natural. She could not find a stylist that would do it. Remember I said it’s tricky.

She asked me to do it. I did explain that it would be a process and my main goal will be to remove the line of demarcation so the hair will blend.
After two session and several months she sent me this pic..
Thanking me saying that it’s been a long time since she has loved her hair.

Always remember it’s more difficult and damaging to go lighter.

Her color is beautiful too!
A base color melt gave her more depth. Used her existing highlights. To add warmth I foiled in some gold tones.
This will allow me to add highlights in her future appointment. Giving her a perfect look thru the summer.
